Goddess-Lunation Ceremony and Workshop Please read these Instructions and Information prior to the event. Visit the Events page for upcoming dates and times. Please spend some time during the 4 days prior to the workshop contemplating and writing what you desire in your life and your life purpose, especially for the coming month or two. The clarity you bring to the Ceremony will be enhanced and further clarified during our Circle of Goddesses. Please bring to the event: Journal or a 3-ring binder and paper for writing intentions, exercises, etc. The handouts are 3 hole-punched for your convenience. I cup of drinking water from your home in a lidded jar with your name on it. I cup of corn meal (blue, white, or yellow) in a jar with a lid and your name on it. You will take home a cup of water and a cup of corn meal combined with all the waters collected during the Ceremony. Since Feb of 2008 The Sisters have also requested that the participants bring seeds of some kind, (flowers, fruit, or veggie seeds) to be combined also with the corn meal during the Ceremony. An item to place on the communal altar for gathering the energies of the Moon, the Goddesses, and your intentions for the month to take back to your personal altar at your home. (Example: small stone, Goddess effigy, etc.) A long skirt is requested, not required. The circle at your ankles represents the Divine Feminine aspect of yourself near Earth Mother. Prayer Shawl for use during the Ceremony and for your personal activities during the month as you work with the Lunar Cycles. If you want to bring a light snack (no cooking required please) - ready to eat finger food. Tuition is a sliding scale between $15-$35. Go to The Sisters’ Store to pay with a credit card. The guidance given by The Sisters of Light is to hold this Circle of Goddesses once a month on or close to the New Moon for the purpose of clarifying intentions and making goals for the actions to be taken toward life purpose during the coming Lunar cycle. The intention is to gather as Goddesses during the 13 lunar cycles between Valentine’s Day 2007 and Valentine’s Day 2008. Since that time we have chosen as a group to continue the Circle.
